Terms of use

Last updated 18 February 2025.

Read this part. This tool converts the contents of a PDF or OFX file into a spreadsheet. It does not audit your bank, verify your bank's arithmetic, or check that a statement is correct or complete. Conversion can contain errors. Always check the output against your original statement before you file, reconcile, report or lend against it.

1. What this service is

This site provides a browser-based file conversion tool. The conversion runs on your device. We do not receive, store or process your files, and we provide no server-side conversion service under these terms.

2. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the conversion will be complete, correct, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular accounting, tax, audit or lending purpose.

3. Your responsibility to verify

You are solely responsible for verifying any output before relying on it. The tool provides aids for this — a running-balance reconciliation count, per-row flags, and a Raw sheet containing the source text line behind each row — but these are aids, not guarantees, and they can be defeated by unusual statement layouts.

Check at minimum: the number of rows, the total of the amounts, and the final balance against the closing balance printed on your statement.

4. Not financial, legal, tax or accounting advice

Nothing on this site constitutes financial, legal, tax or accounting advice. The tool performs a mechanical conversion of a document you supply. Consult a qualified professional for advice about your accounts, taxes or financial position.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this service:

  • to process documents you are not authorised to handle;
  • to attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the site;
  • to scrape or republish its content as your own; or
  • in any way that breaks applicable law, including data protection and financial regulation.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service — including any loss arising from an inaccurate conversion, a missed transaction, or a decision made on the basis of a converted file. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us (which, for the free tool, is zero) or the minimum permitted by law.

7. Third-party names and links

Bank names, Intuit QuickBooks, Xero and other product names are the trademarks of their respective owners. They appear on this site only to describe file formats and statement layouts. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. Links to third-party sites, including affiliate links, are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

8. Intellectual property

The site's own text, design and code are ours. The documents you convert remain entirely yours — we never receive a copy, so no licence over them is granted or needed.

9. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including limits on file size or page count. We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page will change when we do, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
