The most useful thing you can send is a statement layout that did not convert correctly — that is what improves the parser.
Reporting a conversion problem
Useful details, in rough order of usefulness:
- Which bank and which account type the statement came from.
- What went wrong — a missing row, a wrong sign, a date order that looks off, or a false "needs OCR" result.
- The reconcile count the tool reported in the preview, if you still have it.
- Please do not send the statement itself unless you are comfortable doing so. Bank statements contain your account number, address and full transaction history. If a screenshot would help, redact everything except the column headers and one or two transaction lines.
We cannot recover a file you converted, because we never received it. If your download failed, re-run the conversion — the original PDF is still on your device.
Privacy requests
Because the converter runs entirely in your browser, we generally hold no personal data about you to access or erase. If you believe we do, email the address above and we will investigate and respond within 30 days. See the privacy policy for detail.
What we cannot help with
- Access to your bank account, or statements you cannot download — that is a question for your bank.
- Accounting, tax or legal advice.
- OCR of a scanned statement — see scanned statements for what to use instead.
